چکیده

The design of a simple electromechanical system which is dynamically equivalent to an active vibratory system is studied in this paper. A two-step process is presented in which a passive vibratory system is first obtained, which is then modified in the second step to achieve active equivalence. Implementation of the active emulation step is achieved by closedloop control of electromechanical shakers attached to the passive system and driven so as to generate the appropriate vibrations at the mounting locations of the active vibratory system. Experimental examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of this design process. © 2006 Acoustical Society of America PACS numbers: 43.40.At, 43.40.Vn JGM Date Received: July 21, 2005 Date Accepted: December 27, 2005

Mechanical and Electrical Noise in Sense Channel of MEMS Vibratory Gyroscopes

This paper presents a theoretical analysis of mechanical and electrical noise in the sense channel of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) vibratory gyroscopes. Closed-form expressions for the power spectral density (PSD) of the noise equivalent rate (NER) of gyroscopes in the open-loop and the force-rebalance operations are derived by using an averaged PSD model and an equivalent transfer fu...

Phase and speed synchronization control of four eccentric rotors driven by induction motors in a linear vibratory feeder with unknown time-varying load torques using adaptive sliding mode control algorithm

In this paper, phase and speed synchronization control of four eccentric rotors (ERs) driven by induction motors in a linear vibratory feeder with unknown time-varying load torques is studied. Firstly, the electromechanical coupling model of the linear vibratory feeder is established by associating induction motor's model with the dynamic model of the system, which is a typical under actuated m...
